What: To organise 12 one-day hedgerow workshops demonstrating best practice management techniques and providing information on the multi-functional value of hedgerows.

When: October '09 - November '09; September '10 - November '10

Where: 12 seperate locations (2 per county) a range of high profile sites have been identified but final selection will depend on the research phase of the project

Who will carry out the activity: A tender process will be initiated to recruit Hedge layers accredited to NPTC / City & Guilds Standard with experience of demonstrating their craft to the public

- Local Communities, Best Kept Town and Development groups
- Local Authority Planners and Engineers
